Description

This is my older model, which I have been using for several years. It allows the GKS and the guide rail to be stored on one side of the L-Boxx (as shown in the picture). You can secure the stop by turning the lock on the lid.

Four M5 and one M3 screws are required for assembly.

You maybe want to tap the Lid before attaching the M5 Screws.

For the M3, everything between 8 and 18mm should work fine, the lenght of the M5 depends if and how you tap, just try about 10mm.

To start off I would like to say I like the design in principle. a clever way to store the parallel guide in the lid to leave the left side available for other machines in 1/2 inserts. There are a few things that could be improved though: Collides with the battery slot (at least the 6Ah one I’ve got there) - I moved it two hexagons to the middle to avoid the battery and that works, but then it’s above the other insert. It would be better if one step up would work, but there are no holes for the current locking mechanism then - and maybe it collides with the saw there? Also the locking mechanism is a bit tight when taking the parallel guid in and out - and is still a little loose when fastened. a konic cylinder would solve this issue.
