Worx Landroid Vision WR208 Wheel Spikes Mod

🛠️ Description

This wheel-spike insert slides snugly into the Landroid Vision WR208 wheel axle, fitting partially inside the wheel hub and securing firmly under the original axle nut.

Originally designed to help Landroid owners with thicker turf types such as St. Augustine grass, this mod aims to:

• Improve traction and reduce wheel slip in dense lawns
• Prevent the mower from digging in or getting stuck
• Gain roughly ½ – 1 inch of effective cutting height (currently getting a max of 2.8 inches)

The part may also fit other WR2XX Landroid Vision series wheels (not yet verified).

🧱Print notes:

• Recommended material: PETG or ASA for outdoor durability (although my PLA Basic is holding up)
• Enable Support and for small overhangs

🔧 Installation Instructions

1. Power off and flip the mower onto its back so you can access the wheels safely.
2. Remove the wheel cover:
   • Locate the three small slots on the back side of each wheel.
   • Insert a flat screwdriver into each slot to gently release the tab locks.
   • The cover should pop off once all three tabs are disengaged.
3. Remove the axle nut and washers from the center hub.
4. Insert the wheel mod into the axle cavity — it should slide in snugly.
5. Reinstall the washer(s) and axle nut. You may need to tap/hammer the washer down to seat it fully due to the tight tolerances.
6. Spin the wheel by hand to confirm it turns freely and clears the deck before returning the mower to service.
