Hess Toy Truck RV Loading Ramp replacement (1998)

I made this ramp to replace one missing on my son's toy Hess Truck 1998 RV. It prints fine without supports (printed on A1 mini with generic rapid PLA+ with matte filament settings). I am not a professional designer, nor did I have any reference ramp to consider. Seeing pictures online, the original ramp is more “sporty” and printed in green with specific wheel spacing for the original buggy companion vehicle. This one is flatter so that it can allow for many different vehicles to be used with it. Pictured is the 2001 companion “Cruiser” SUV.

The notch on the side is what allows it to be installed into place. It was a very tight fit in the prototype, so I added some additional space for easier installation. The text can be changed or removed in the bambu slicer. The correct print orientation is with the short back wall of the ramp touching the build plate.

I am passionate about helping kids and families to be able to fix their toys and replace missing parts so they can save money, enjoy their toys, and reduce waste over time by keeping older toys out of landfills and letting them be passed down or donated to other kids once the original owner is no longer playing with them.
