A universal adapter for connecting different fan sizes – easily customizable in MakerWorld's upload parameter tool. Supports the following fan diameters: 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, 92 mm, 120 mm, 135 mm, 140 mm, 180 mm, 200 mm, 220 mm.

Model Description

This adapter allows you to mount a fan with a fixed base plate and use a round connection with variable size at the top (e.g., for hose or air duct connection).

• The base plate is designed for mounting one of the fan sizes mentioned above.
• The connection diameter at the top can be flexibly adjusted in the parameter field.
• Applications include: enclosures, ventilation systems, air conditioning, sensor or filter setups – wherever a fan outlet needs to be connected to a round connecting element.

Technical Specifications

• Recommended material: PETG (due to higher temperature and long-term stability)
• Alternatively possible: PLA — critically evaluate material choice depending on application and ambient temperature.
• Tolerance note: Every printer behaves differently. If the fit is not ideal, scale the model slightly up or down as needed.
• Supported fan diameters (base plate): 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, 92 mm, 120 mm, 135 mm, 140 mm, 180 mm, 200 mm, 220 mm
• Example print parameters (starting point):
  • Layer height: 0.20 mm
  • Infill: 20–30 %
  • Wall thickness: at least 2
  • Pay attention to orientation

Notes on Customization & Usage

• In the upload parameter field on MakerWorld, you can set the fan diameter (40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, 92 mm, 120 mm, 135 mm, 140 mm, 180 mm, 200 mm, 220 mm). 
• You can freely adjust the size of the top connection diameter. 
• Before printing, check your build volume (especially for large fan sizes).
• Larger diameters (z. B. 180 mm, 200 mm, 220 mm) can promote material distortion or warping — use of PETG or other temperature- and dimensionally stable materials is recommended.
