Description

A table lamp any playstation fan needs .

I have printed it in pla , but i you can i would recomend printing in petg , otherwise don't put the led's on full white power as it might get too hot.

I used ws2812 led lights , a 5v2a adapter and a sp611e controller with 3pin connector. If you have the time i would recomend using esp32 with wled app.

You can use a single line of led's ,but 2 lines looked better , after soldering the wires to led's push with a  xacto knife or something sharp in the connector . Then you can remove the black plastic and push the wire throught the hole , after that glue in the led's .

With the same xacto knife slightly lift up the small metals on the pins to push the black part back in .

Add a little bit of glue around the edges and assemble the parts . Everything should fit nicelly .

Thanks for printing , hope you like it .

I have made a bigger 65cm width version that fits on the a1 mini

I really liked it, but I must say that pressing down broke the letters, I had to glue them with super glue. you could have cut the piece in half to make it bigger, but I think that would have been too much. you could have a version to put a battery-powered box like mine to be completely wireless. but I repeat I loved it. I used white with old gold, I think it's prettier than using black, besides it lets the white light pass through better. thank you I loved it for my PC setup. the background is also 3D

Thanks for your feedback and pictures , im really happy that you liked the print and it looks great in all white with gold and ir looks like you hid the battery pack well . im sorry to hear that the letter broke and you had to glue them . I think i might make a bigger design ,but the idea for this one was to be the size of the build plate .

What can be done to let more light through do you need different material or because mine is quite dark even though the filament is really bright

There might be many reasons . i used elegoo white pla+ , you can try similar or even translucent pla or petg . how did you lay the led strip similar like i have in the last image or differently ? also the led type and led count matters , be sure you are using led that are at least 60 led/meter . Btw the images and gif is not altered or edited , the brightnes should be similar to my photos . Maybe you can provide images of how bright yours is ?
