Description

At first: The usage of the shelf requiring the original whirlpool shelf on the top so that my shelf can use the hook on the top. I just share this in case someone with the same fridge also need this.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I broke my original whirlpool shelf, and it cost more than €30 to buy a new one, so I decide to draw and 3D print by myself.

I decide to use the shelf dedicated for store eggs, so I adjust the width of the shelf according to egg paper box. And due to a bit occupied space in my fridge, I designed two shelf, one with one layer and can hold 8 eggs, another double layers can hold 12 eggs (6 for each layer). The space between for hand to reach the rear row egg is just enough (again due to limited space I have).

  • Each shelf consist for two side parts and a (or two) bottom part. After printing, you just need to slide bottom part in, the assembling is quite easy.
  • I copy the original way of installing the shelf, just sliding in use the hook structure at the top, thus the original whirlpool shelf is necessary.
  • I print with PETG, but I think general PLA should also be fine.
