Terrarium back wall with integrated planting system.Â
This terrarium back wall is made of a solid-looking, rock-like material with a realistic surface.
Six small plant pots are embedded in the wall â they are discreetly integrated into the natural rock structure, making them look like small caves or depressions.
The pots are arranged vertically and slightly offset above each other. Each pot is connected by small holes or channels, allowing excess water to drain downwards when watering. This ensures natural drainage and prevents waterlogging, which is ideal for moss, small fern species, or tropical epiphytes.
The surface appears slightly porous, with fine grooves and structures that can retain moisture well â this also contributes to a stable microclimate in the terrarium.
Additionally, there is a small hole at the back for hanging it on the wall.Â
Overall, the back wall is not only decorative but also functional, as it combines planting, water drainage, and structure for the animals in a compact, aesthetic design.
