Tired of socks that squeeze like boa constrictors? The Sock Stretcher gently preps your pairs with the perfect tension—no more calf compression, just cozy circulation.
I have several pairs of socks that are too tight. I needed a sock stretcher, and decided my Bambu Lab A1 printer was just the tool to make one.
Instructions: Print two (because you have two feet). Pull your socks over the narrow end. Pull them as far as you need in order to get the stretch you want. Fuzzy skin on the sock stretcher keeps your socks from sliding off the stretcher.
Three sizes are included:
- Small - The sock stretcher is about 93 mm in diameter. It is intended for calves that are 270-300 mm in circumference
- Medium - The sock stretcher is about 102 mm in diameter. It is intended for calves that are 300-350 mm in circumference
- Large - The sock stretcher is about 118 mm in diameter. It is intended for calves that are 350-400 mm in circumference.
But the model is easily scaled. Feel free to resize it so that it is perfect for you.
Any rigid filament should work.
This model is a modified version of tjwild0127's Bowling Pin model. I cut off the top and bottom, smoothed out the curves, and added fuzzy skin.
