LCARS Remote Control for Cyberbrick
Take command of your Cyberbrick creations with this LCARS-style remote, inspired by the iconic computer panels from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Designed for builders who love merging technology and design, this remote offers both functionality and a futuristic aesthetic worthy of the Starfleet bridge.

This custom controller is compatible with the standard Cyberbrick remote and provides enhanced control options for your robotic projects.

Features:

  • Two dual-axis joysticks
  • One single-axis joystick for additional control functions
  • Two push buttons, including one optional
  • Three-position switch for mode selection or power functions
  • 14500 7.4V 800mAh Li-ion battery for reliable, long-lasting power
  • On/Off switch for easy power management
  • 3D-printable LCARS-inspired design with ergonomic layout and modular assembly

Bring a touch of Star Trek style to your Cyberbrick setup — where robotics meets science fiction.

⚠️ Attention! The joystick controls are inverted compared to the Standard Cyberbrick Remote. Please adjust this in the Cyberbrick App.

LCARS CYBERBRICK REMOTE - 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill
I love the TNG style, and this was a must print for me as soon as I saw it. The print turned out awesome, and assembly is so easy that it takes just a few minutes. I printed on an A1, using a 0.4mm Stainless Steel nozzle, and a 3D effects sheet with a severely diminished effect. I used the 3D effects sheet because it produces a super glossy, almost plexiglass like finish that I thought would work well with a TNG style panel. If we ever get Cyberbrick compatible drone components, a shuttlecraft would go great with this controller.

I'm wondering how you get the multi color scars to print so efficiently with 8 color changes? Do you print by color? on that level and then move on? Would love to know more!

Hi! I don’t have an AMS, so in this case I did the filament changes manually. But it’s only 4 colors, just 4 manual swaps. Thanks

Replying to @mauricioduarte :
How do you get the 4 color changes then? Do you print by color region? Are there any settings or the layers you put the colors into? Sorry - I'm just trying to figure out how to make it all multi colored in 1.5-3 mmm of height and print efficiently for the colors on a similar project

I only do manual color changes on the first layer. I prepare a plate for each color. For this remote, I didn't create a NO AMS profile; see my other Apollo11 remote. There's a profile there prepared for manual color changes.
