Figuring out the design logic for this puzzle was more mentally demanding than solving the puzzle itself I crashed Fusion 360 multiple times drawing sketches and had to delete and restart the sketches completely 4-5 times After more than ten print tests, nothing seemed right; either the angles were wrong or the proportions of the protruding corners were incorrect In the original, each puzzle piece could fit into at least 2-3 holes The angle of each protrusion was not the same as the angle of the holes in the base plate; there were slight deviations Finally, I discovered that the video creator I found on Bilibili used a 3D printed model with very large tolerances, and the final assembled result was wrong :(
Eventually, I found a high-definition video on YouTube, redesigned it with a fresh approach, and after 3 revisions, it was finally completed The replica accuracy should be over 95% This is probably the most brain-intensive puzzle in my Puzzle series This puzzle demands extremely high precision I printed it with PETG, and the tolerances are perfectly matched I'm not sure if PLA printing would be perfect (though netizens have tested and confirmed PLA also prints perfectly)
