This is a really neat idea. Do you use the same size dice as the original Strike! or did you use a small set?

Thanks! Those are smaller dice yeah, 12mm - i find they work really well and have even more tendency to bounce out or been mishandled during the throw which is always great fun!

What is the orange part in the middle? Is it filament or some kind of cushion?

Just a bit of felt - I bought some small sheets on amazon, they've got some adhesive on the back, but it works just as well without it, I just like the looks of it :)
