Description

This skull relief is my tribute to H.R. Giger – dark, mechanical, and mysterious… with a slightly colorful twist 😅
I printed this piece upright, using a layer height of 0.12 mm, and the rainbow look happened because I used up my leftover filament – sustainability meets nightmare aesthetics 💀🌈

The design features a biomechanical skull with twisted tubes, multiple skulls, and all the signature Giger-style textures – perfect as wall art, a collector’s piece, or a cool desk display.

🖨 Print tips:

  • I recommend printing upright for the best detail quality.
  • Important: Printing upright requires supports – without them, you’ll get overhang issues and weak spots.
  • Fully scalable – from mini desk version to large wall relief.
  • No extreme supports needed; the geometry is print-friendly overall.

If Giger had a 3D printer, this might’ve been his weekend project – biomechanical, dark, and a touch of rainbow madness! 😎
