Description

Create your own laptop stand for Zwift or other indoor cycling setups with this custom 3D printable tripod base plate. This base plate lets you build a stable, modular stand that’s easy to assemble, store, and adapt to your space. Aside of the print, this costed me one trip to the DIY-store and € 20 in materials for the legs and wooden plank. Much better than the € 120 alternatives commercially available.

Boost Me (for free)

Rumor has it that boosting this model grants you additional watts/kg in Wattopia.

The base plate connects three 22 mm diameter wooden dowels as tripod legs, providing a strong, balanced foundation. Simply screw a wooden plank or board to the top for your laptop, tablet, or accessories. When not in use, the tripod legs can be removed for compact storage. Or, fix the dowels to the plate with 3mm dia screws.

Included with the design are 3D-printable feet for the dowel ends.

Assembly

  1. Print the base plate and three feet.
  2. Insert three 22 mm wooden dowels into the base (and optionally fix them to the plate via the screw holes)
  3. Attach your preferred top surface (e.g., wooden board) with screws. Pre-printed holes of 3mm diameter included.

Let me know if you want the base plate dowel slots to be bigger/smaller/freedom units. Can see what I can do!
