Description

A custom roof designed for the Wyze Pan Cam v3, perfect for adding protection from rain and snow. Ideal for any outdoor cameras or device you want to give a little extra shelter. I installed mine on an exterior wall fully exposed to the elements, and it’s held up great. The model was 3D printed in translucent PETG to allow light through without blocking visibility.

Dimensions:

  • Width: 6.1 inches
  • Depth: 5.9 inches
  • Height: 3.2 inches

Mounting is simple — I drilled holes in the back plate to match the camera bracket. Drilled into the brick and put some plugs then screwed the camera bracket and roof into the plugs. The model can be scaled to fit other applications without distortion.

Print settings used:

  • No supports required
  • 0.20 mm layer height
  • 5% infill
  • 3 Wall Loops

printed perfectly in white inland PETG. I was having an issue where water would clog up the mic on my wyze pan v3 and hopefully this will fix the issue. It is a little difficult to get the set screw into the camera after mounting the little roof and that's why I mounted it the way I did. Great functional print, thank you!

Thank you for the feedback. I am happy to hear that the camera roof printed well. I think when I mounted my camera I turned the camera bracket around so I could mount camera to the bracket and the roof with the same screws to hold the camera bracket. Looks like yours turned out great. Hope it protects the mic. Thank you for the boost!
