🐲 Tiamat – AI-Generated Remix

This Tiamat was created by remixing multiple AI-generated dragon models in Bambu Studio, combining their geometries into a five-headed amalgam inspired by D&D’s dragon queen.

🛠️ Features:

  • Five unique dragon heads merged into one cohesive model using Bambu Slicer geometry tools
  • Includes alternate versions with detachable heads and integrated connectors for modular assembly

🖨️ Printing Notes:

  • Connector tolerances fit best at larger scales; smaller prints may require sanding or adjustment
  • Belly supports can fail on larger prints—reduce print speed or use a CoreXY printer for best results
  • Standard supports recommended for head assemblies

i printed it at 150% of the large size and did a quick paint job not perfect but good enough for now

I haven't had any success with this file. the belly receives almost no support and the support it gets breaks off halfway. I'm trying again with custom supports but it's already not looking great

Hello! Sorry to hear that but I am not surprised. These ai models are not well optimized and were more of a side project for me. Somethings to check would be which version you're printing, I found the larger one easier to support the belly and also make sure supports are not "build plate only". If you keep having issues let me know and I'll make a few more cuts to allow for less support and avoid this issue

yeah I pulled the file into my slicer and unchecked build plate only. still issues. if it was cut right before the belly started it would probably print fine

Hello! You should be able to open the A1 files on an X1C. I do not have an X1C so I can't test how good it translates to coreXY printers

I downloaded the files and maxed their size out for multiple build plates on x1c. should lead to a massive tiamat. if all prints well I can upload my profile for it. the body is going right now
