Description

The holder of the gas tank cap was broken.

TPU addict and owning a 3D printer what's more logical to design and 3D print it

Design has been done with Fusion based on existing model dimensions

Model fits Volvo C70 but sure is also compatible with other models. Here is the ring profile sizes in case.

Printed in TPU 98A with: 0.12mm layer height for better quality and 0.2 perimeters, 0.2 bottom and top layers, 10% infill for high flexibility.

Result is perfect. No more risk to forget or lose the gas tank cap

Tank cap holder - TPU

This works for an unleaded 2015 Volvo S60 as well. The diameter of the cap interface is exactly the same. It's tight initially, but will loosen over time to allow free spinning. The mounting interface is a bit different though. I simply cut the "nub" off and drilled a small hole and it clipped in place.
