Boost Me (for free)

If you find this model helpful, please consider giving me a Boost! I’m just a hobbyist who loves tinkering in my free time and sharing with the community. I don't do this as my full-time job or anything like that. Boosts could help cover the cost of filament and testing materials, allowing me to keep experimenting and bringing new features to life.

🔥 03/2026 Update: Improved Sliding Lid Mechanism

I have updated the deck box design to improve the stability and function of the sliding lid. By extending the rails and widening the lid entry point, I believe I have addressed issues where the lid could fall off or fail to close securely.

This is an optional update. If the original model is already printing well for you, feel free to keep using it. However, if you have experienced any trouble with the lid mechanism, I recommend trying these new files for a more secure fit.

This is my remix of the fantastic sliding deck box by @3DPrintingDude. My main goal was to redesign the box to be ready to use right off the build plate. Easier to assemble, adjusts to your deck sizes, and customize your colors.

Here are the highlights

  • No-glue needed to print: The biggest change! The main box is now a single, unified model. You don't need to print two halves and glue them together. This makes the box stronger, saves you time, and prevents any messy cleanup.
  • Swappable lid: I redesigned the lid assembly so you can easily insert and remove the sliding lid cover. This is perfect for customizing your box with different lid colors or designs without making a permanent commitment. I've also extended the rail slots to fix an issue I was encountering with the original design where the lid could slide out of place. Now, the lid stays on securely.
  • Adjustable Deck Sizes: The standard box is designed to comfortably hold up to 100 sleeved cards. I've also added internal slots for my custom dividers, allowing you to securely partition the box to hold 25, 50, or 75 card decks. This keeps your smaller decks from moving around and protects your cards from damage.
  • New! There is now a version of the deck box specifically for Yu-Gi-Oh cards. This version has a more snug fit for Yu-Gi-Oh card size, and the front display window is sized to better showcase your front card.

Deck Box Profiles

To make sure this fits your exact needs, I've included several variations in the print profile:

  • Full-Size (100-Card) Box:

    • Holds up to 100 sleeved cards.
    • Includes divider slots for 25, 50, and 75 cards.
  • Half-Size (50-Card) Box:

    • A more compact version that perfectly fits 50 sleeved cards.
    • Ideal for smaller decks or for saving filament.
    • Includes a single divider slot in the middle.

  • Comes in three different styles to choose from:

    • No Window: Simple and clean look.
    • Single Preview Window: To showcase your commander/leader or favorite card.
    • Dual Preview Windows: A window on each side for maximum visibility. For SWU it's perfect for Twin Suns.

I created a short video to showcase some of the highlights. I hope everyone has fun using this print!
