H2D Poop Catcher Box｜Quick-Release, Vent-Friendly
Introduction
The H2 Series Printers Poop Chute is a 3D-printed quick-release waste chute made specifically for the Bambu Lab H2 system.
It connects directly to the H2 Series Printers purge outlet, channeling purged filament and debris into an external waste bin for a cleaner, more organized workspace.
The model was engineered with thermal convection behavior in mind.
The upper section is fully sealed, preventing hot air from escaping upward and helping maintain a stable chamber temperature during printing.
Along the purge slide channel, I added fine side vents to allow rapid cooling of hot filament waste. This reduces the likelihood of melted debris sticking to the chute walls and keeps the passage clean and smooth.
Affectionately known in the community as the “Printer Poop Chute,” this playful yet practical add-on helps manage waste efficiently while keeping your setup modular and future-ready.

Material Recommendation:
If you often print with engineering materials and your chamber stays hot for extended periods, PA6-CF or ABS is highly recommended.
In particular, PA6-CF works best, the model’s dimensional tolerances were intentionally designed to accommodate the higher shrink rate of this composite material, ensuring a snug and reliable fit.
