Description

Jonsbo N3 Backplane Rack Mount

This model is designed to mount the Jonsbo N3 Backplane within a 10-inch rack, providing a secure and space-efficient solution for NAS (Network Attached Storage) system builds. The bracket allows for clean integration of the backplane into a custom rack-mounted NAS chassis or enclosure.

Hardware Requirements:

  • 3 × M4×16 mm screws and matching nuts/bolts

Recommended Print Parameters:

  • Material: PETG (for enhanced strength, flexibility, and temperature resistance)
  • Perimeters/Walls: 4
  • Top Layers: 6
  • Bottom Layers: 6
  • Infill: 20–30% (adjust as needed for rigidity)

Note that holes are not cut all the way though in the print, after running tests with threads i found that leaving them closed and drilling a small pilot hole into the holes and putting the m4 screws in was much better. This results in a tight fit and less vibrations coming from anything else in your rack.

PETG is recommended to ensure dimensional stability under load and during extended operation in warm environments.

This is my first uploaded 3D model, and I am new to 3D design and modeling, so feedback, testing results, or suggestions for optimization are very welcome.
