Description

I created a pill container shaped like a mini coffee cup. The coffee cup with the lid assembled is about 1.8" tall and 1.5" overall diameter. The lid is a snap on design which snaps onto the bottle. This container is small enough to fit in your pocket and easy to pack in a backpack or toiletry bag. The container can hold about 7-10 pills depending on the size of the pill.

I also created a stand with 7 holes, one for each day, to keep the bottles organized. There are different lids for the bottle which have the first letter of each day on top, which makes it easy to determine which pills you have taken and which ones you have left. Just make sure to print 2 lids with the letter S for Saturday and Sunday, and 2 lids with the letter T for Tuesday and Thursday.

I posted STL files for printing and the STEP files if you want to make any edits or customization. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I haven't printed this design yet as I do not have a printer at home, so I'm not sure how well the parts will function and assemble. Some design modifications may need to be made to improve the parts. Happy printing!

***UPDATE (7/3/25)***

Uploaded 3mf file that includes all components. I printed each part and everything printed out great. There are some visible layer lines around the letters of the cup lid. The coffee cup and lid does have some visible seam lines. The stand does get a little rough at the rounded corners. I've posted the STEP files so feel free to make changes to improve the design as needed.

(steps on how I printed below ) just got done printing : to maker : some things that need fixing the lid. the letters do not match the hight and floats requiring supports. if you added a slight angle it could be printed without supports STEPS FOR PRINTING AS IS : so steps for lid : 1. turn on supports 2. face the letters down on build plate 3. use move to move the lid down to let the letters touch the build plate (yes it will be below the build plate ) 4. slice and print all 7 print time : 1hr settings for the cup (leave the cup up right) 1. turn on supports 2. change support type to Snug from default. ( you have to be in advanced to see the style) 3. slice and print all 7 cups print time : 1.5 hours stand settings : 1. lay it down sideways (on its thinnest side ) 2. print with no support 3. have a brim (my first without brim popped off build plate) 4. slice and print print time: 2.5 hours will post pic in 20min when stand finishes NOTES : THE FIT FOR THE CUP AND LID ARE VERY NICE AND WORK WELL

Thanks for the feedback! This is really helpful. I don't have a printer at the moment since the one I had started having some issues, so I appreciate the detailed feedback. I'll definitely update the lid file so the letters are fixed, and try to look into redesigning it so that it doesn't require supports. I come from an injection molding background, and I know some designs don't translate well to 3D printing, especially FDM printing. So bear with me as I try to improve my design skills for FDM printing. Thanks for taking the time to test out the parts and providing some valuable feedback. I'll update the files as soon as I can. Thanks!

The holder has the cups in it, can you remove them so we can print it and the cups separately ;-)

Sorry! I forgot to upload a file of just the stand. Thanks for catching that and reaching out. I just uploaded a new STL for just the stand. Let me know if this works for you and if you have any other questions. Thanks!

I'll upload a new print profile. I was still pretty new to MakerWorld when I uploaded this design and I think I only uploaded the STL files. Keep an eye out for a notification with a new print profile.

These are not easily printable. It would be possible using supports, but they definitely could be optimized to print without supports.
