Description

A compact print-in-place planetary gear that works as a smooth fidget spinner.
The model features real involute gear profiles with a herringbone tooth pattern for quiet, balanced rotation.

No supports, single-color print, and fully functional straight off the bed — no assembly required.
Uses minimal material (~26 g PLA) and takes about 1h 45m to print.

Features

  • Real involute tooth geometry for smooth meshing
  • Herringbone gears eliminate axial forces
  • Print-in-place, no supports or bearings
  • Works as a mechanical fidget spinner
  • Lightweight and fast to print

If the gears feel tight after printing, gently free them by rotating side to side.
