Description

  • 12/22/25 update: This model is the most liked, downloaded, and boosted amongst all models I've posted, so I decided to revisit it to improve it. The tracks now have alignment pegs to help connect the tracks to the hull. The supports were given greater top and bottom Z distance for easier removal. T-80UK hull with fuel tanks has also been added.
  • 1/2/25 Update: Added A1 Mini print profile and multi-color print profile
  • 2/8/26 update: made changes to all 3 print profiles
  • 2/16/26 update: added moveable gun
  • 6/27/26 update: changed supports, they're now on build plate only and the tracks have slim-style supports.

A heavily modified model of m_bergman's T-80UK model.

Left to right: T-80U, T-80UK

The tank tracks were completely redesigned, giving a more realistic look, while other parts were tweaked to look less bulky such as the gun barrel.  The side skirts were separated from the tracks to make support removal easier, you may need tweezers to remove the numerous supports in the tracks however.

Construction is straightforward, remove the supports from the model, then glue on the side skirts to the track sides, the side skirts do not have alignment pegs like on the track sides, so align them as best as you can. Then you can either friction-fit or glue the track sides onto the hull using the alignment pegs. The machine gun can be friction fitted, but glue can be used.

Want it in 1/48 scale? Just scale it up to 149.99%. It's not recommended to print it in 1/100, but if you also want it in 1/100, scale it down to 71.99%
