đŸ§© Adhesive Base / Paste Base for Motorhomes & Caravans – Self-Printed Instead of Expensive Bought

I have designed an adhesive base (also called paste base) here, which is ideally suited for attaching, for example, cable ducts or lines to the roofs of motorhomes and caravans – without drilling and without damaging the surface.

The base is simply glued with a suitable sealant or adhesive such as Dekasyl, Dekaseal, Sikaflex or similar products. This allows solar cables, antenna feeder lines, or other installations to be securely and vibration-proof fixed.

Since such a base often costs over €2 per piece in stores, I wanted to create my own printable alternative.
To make the model easier and cleaner to print, I designed it in two parts – this means no support structures are necessary, and both parts can be glued with minimal post-processing.

Recommended Material: PETG or ASA for outdoor use (UV and weather resistant).
Areas of Application:

  • Mounting of cable ducts on vehicle roofs
  • Fixing of solar cables or antenna feeder lines
  • Universal mounting foot for accessories

I welcome feedback or suggestions for improvement – perhaps someone has ideas on how to further optimize stability or shape.
