Description

I designed my Skadis board for A1 mini in hexagonal shapes. They are fully compatible with the original board elements and have holes of the appropriate size.

Advantages of my model:

• Maximum print size for A1 mini

• Light weight around 50 grams

• Thickness 5 mm like IKEA, total thickness 12 mm

• Elements can be connected in any shape seamlessly just by gluing side surfaces to each other

• Wall mounting elements that hide the screws

• No back wall layers to reduce plastic waste

went all out making a little hexagon wall next to my printer, I love it. would be nice if the holes from one plate to the next would align as if a single sheet, but this works great for my application.

printed in Silk+. Super good 💪 Depending on the wall, I can recommend simply nailing the parts into the wall with large nails. It is invisible and holds very well. I glued the parts beforehand

Enjoying the prototyping process using these for a project I’m working on. I only wish they could be seamless / same distance between holes when moving from one plate to the next. Otherwise great model.
