Description

A folding Batarang straight from the Arkham games — rebuilt for the real world.

This fully functional replica features a dual-gear folding mechanism that ensures both wings open and close in perfect symmetry, just like the in-game design. A built-in locking system keeps the Batarang securely deployed with satisfying precision.

Designed for easy printing and assembly, the model includes separate mechanical components for smooth movement and durability. Print it, assemble it, and feel like you’ve just unlocked a new gadget upgrade from the Batcomputer.

The Arkham Knight isn’t the only one with an arsenal.

Note: I highly recommend printing the batarang in PETG for strength and durability.

good print, but the studs on center piece needs to be longer to connect, nice file otherwise.

Hmmm. that happened to someone else too. they reprinted the piece and said it worked after that, but I’m going to look into the peg length now.

also having that issue , the thing kept falling apart so I had to glue it , looks cool but I wish it could fold also how would you fold it back since the locking mechanism?

The model requires glue. it’s not friction-fit, at least not the pegs. the locking mechanism sort of gently holds it together. with a bit of pressure it should close although it probably needs some sanding

This printed beautifully on my P2S. I haven't glued it together yet, but it seems like the gear and lock are going to function great. Is there a trick to unlocking it once it is open?

Thanks for the rating!! the lock just friction fit, so you should be able to just firmly pull it closed again

thank you for the speedy reply. I did exactly what you said and it works great. I was just nervous that I might break it.

you’re welcome! as long as it’s PETG, you should be fine. I’ve never broken mine, and I’ve used it as a fidget toy lol

so does it need magnets or something? because the 2 circle pieces that hold it together dont have long enough pegs on them to connect to eachother to hold the whole thing together, did mine just not print right or do you need magnets or something?

It should not require magnets. I don’t see how it could have printed wrong, but the pegs should be long enough to connect to each other. I’m not really sure what happened then. When I was assembling mine, I did find that it was hard to align the circle pieces properly. Maybe that happened?

I went back and reprinted the piece with the little pegs that hold it together and its long enough this time, Idk what happened last time to make it not long enough since my printer said it had completed printing and there was no spaghetti or clogs, but for whatever reason it worked this time, thanks!

Sorry to hear that. If it was printed in PLA it might do that, I highly recommend PETG
