This is a passive irrigation system that works on the "chicken drinker" principle and is ideal for plant cultivation

It keeps the water level in your seed tray or saucer fully automatically and without electricity constant at a height of approximately 6 mm

How it works:

  1. Fill a standard PET bottle (sturdy) or glass bottle (as a water reservoir) with water
  2. Screw the adapter tightly onto the bottle
  3. Place the whole thing upside down in the plant tray

As soon as the soil or plant absorbs water and the level drops, air bubbles into the bottle and water automatically flows in until the 6 mm level is reached again

Perfect for keeping seedlings evenly moist without drowning them Also ideal as irrigation for short vacations

Print settings:

  • (Insert your recommendations here, e.g., Material: PETG, Layer height: 0.2mm, Infill: 20%)
  • Important: For thread watertightness, a high wall line count or a watertight print profile may be necessary

Tip: Save this model to your collection to quickly find it again later
