ZKULL EDITION

Discover ZKULL, a new collection of modular figurines inspired by urban culture and designer toys.
The concept is simple: skip the AMS and reduce filament waste by offering multi-part models that let everyone choose their own colors all with a single-extruder printer, no purge tower, no forced material changes.

New versions of the ZKULL Edition will be released regularly, so feel free to share your ideas!
I hope you’ll enjoy the collection and I can’t wait to see your prints.

ANGEL SIDE (ZKULL Edition #6)

They don’t walk, they glide. Three silhouettes moving in sync with the city’s heartbeat. Beneath their caps, no hesitation, just instinct, precision, and that quiet energy born from the streets of the West.

Their colors tell stories:
black for loyalty, orange for inner fire, blue for calm control. With every step, the city exhales the rumble of a bus, the bassline from a distant freestyle, the warm breath of concrete that never sleeps. They move in silence, yet everything around them stirs. Reflections on asphalt become mirrors, neon lights turn into halos, and the walls whisper their confessions.

Angel Side isn’t a place, it’s a state of mind.
Where the street becomes faith, style becomes a prayer, and every movement leaves an invisible mark on the world.

When night falls, they don’t fade away, they rise. And in the glow of wet asphalt, their shadows remind us that every angel has two sides, the one you show, and the one you keep for the streets.

Summary

Model designed in multiple parts, assembled using friction-fit connectors.
The pieces fit together without glue, provided your material tolerances and printer calibration are accurate.
All files include optimized orientations (for supports and positioning), do not reorient the parts unless you know exactly what you’re doing.

Printing Instructions

Keep the provided settings: the included Bambu Lab / Bambu Studio profiles have been tested for this model and can be used as-is for reliable printing.

Orientation & Supports

All parts are pre-oriented to minimize supports and simplify post-processing.
Avoid changing orientations globally; if you adjust one piece, always check the impact on support generation.

Assembly – Recommended Method

1. Dry Fit (Recommended)
Assemble all parts without glue first to verify alignment and tolerances.

2. Cleaning
Lightly trim or sand edges and pegs with a fine file or modeling tool for a smooth contact surface.

3. Zipper (Specific Tip)
For the jacket’s zipper, glue it in two steps for the best fit:

  • First, glue only the top section and allow it to dry completely.
  • Then, glue the bottom section once the upper part is stable.
This method helps the zipper naturally follow the jacket’s shape and ensures a clean, realistic finish.

4. Cap (Specific Tip)
The printing speed for the cap has been intentionally slowed down to improve fine surface details and prevent defects on the thin walls.
I strongly recommend keeping this reduced speed for optimal quality.
The fit between parts has been designed with tight tolerances to ensure a strong hold without glue, it may require a bit of force during assembly depending on your filament type.

5. Small Parts & Inserts

  • Small elements (buttons, tips, eye and nose inserts) may need a small drop of glue depending on your printer’s precision.
  • The rear emblem (logo patch) should be glued firmly for long-term stability.

6. Final Check
Ensure that patterns align properly and that any moving parts (if included) retain their range of motion.

Recommended Print Settings

  • Layer Height: 0.12–0.20 mm (use 0.12 mm for fine details)
  • Walls: 2–3 perimeters
  • Infill: 10–20 % (increase for stressed parts)
  • Top/Bottom Layers: 4
  • Supports: Use the provided orientations, included profiles handle them efficiently
  • Bed Adhesion: Use a skirt if contact surfaces are small
  • Temperatures: Keep default profile values or adjust to your filament specs

Additional Notes & Best Practices

  • Tolerances may vary depending on your filament, always test-fit on your printer before final assembly.
  • Avoid gluing immediately, prefer a dry assembly to allow for color or fit adjustments.
  • Keep the original file names and part labels as provided, this helps with reassembly and support if needed.
