🧩 Parametric Minimal Junction Box

This is an original, fully parametric model that I designed from scratch after struggling to find anything both functional and visually appealing.
During a home renovation, I needed a clean and minimal way to cover some wall openings where electrical cables pass through — and in some cases, to connect lighting to a power outlet. This model was born from that need.

I've printed and used several of these boxes for years now, and they’re still working perfectly.
That’s the beauty of 3D printing: you can create exactly what you need instead of settling for what’s available on the market.

⚙️ Features & Customization

• Fully parametric design:
  Easily adjust the width, height, and depth to match the exact space you need inside the junction box.
• Hole configuration:
  Up to 4 cable holes (one per side), with customizable position and diameter.
• Clean and minimal look:
  Snap-fit closure for a smooth, screw-free design — strong and reliable even after many openings.
• Mounting flexibility:
  The fixing holes allow fine adjustment of the box alignment after installation, so it’s always perfectly straight on your wall.
• Support-free printing:
  Once exported as .3mf, simply split the two parts in Bambu Studio (Split → To object) and lay the cover flat on the bed for printing.  No supports needed.

🧱 Print Example

A print profile is included with internal dimensions 75×75×10 mm and one single cable hole.

• Material suggestion:
  • PLA → for indoor use
  • ASA → for outdoor use (place it only if protected from rain)
