Description
This beehive mouse guard also serves as a simple entrance reducer — just flip it over to switch between the two functions.
It measures 265 mm wide and 60 mm tall, fitting most standard hive entrances, and includes pre-made mounting holeson each side for easy attachment.
The design features three independent sliding windows, letting you control ventilation and bee access as needed.
It’s printed flat, with auto-generated tree supports for the sliding rails. Removing the supports takes about 1–2 minutes using a small kitchen knife or cutter.
Each window has a small raised section along its short edge — this should be facing the main body. It provides light friction so the windows stay in position and don’t slide down.
To assemble, insert one end of a window into a rail, place your finger between the main body and the window, then gently bend it over your finger into the opposite rail. Repeat for all three windows.
Flat ends on both sides leave space to trim around latches or screws if needed — just cut with scissors.
