Inspired by the Expanded Sensory Fidget Star, this piece reimagines the idea as a crisp spider-web for Halloween. It comes in three sizes—Large, Medium, and Small—with a detachable icon at the top. The icon is not just for show; the model is designed so you can lift it by the icon, which feels especially satisfying in the hand.

Multi-colour printing (no AMS required)

This is designed for multi-colour printing without an AMS. I made it this way after my own AMS failed, so I understand the frustration.

• Icons: Pause the print after it reaches over 8 mm, change the filament, then resume to colour the icon.
• Web: Pause the print after it reaches around 15 mm, change the filament, then resume to colour the web.

Printing and fit

Tolerances are tuned for a tight, clicky fit with most colours, but results can vary with different materials and slicer settings. If the fit is too tight on your printer, gently widen the socket with a small flat-head screwdriver, or scale the icon up slightly in your slicer. Either method should help you achieve a clean, secure fit.
