We’ve created custom parts to convert a TinyWhoop into a PusherWhoop-style build. To complete the conversion, you’ll need to modify the frame, revise the wiring, and prepare additional components such as M2 hex standoff nuts and screws. If you successfully cut and drill the standoffs to secure the flight controller (FC), most Whoop-type drones can be converted to the pusher style. When drilling, it's best to gradually widen the holes using a small-diameter drill bit. For mounting, we used M2 nylon screws in 6mm and 16mm lengths, and 8mm-long plastic hex standoff nuts. Depending on the FC and frame shape, use M2 spacers to fine-tune the assembly.
For using M2 screws, drilling holes with a diameter of 2.3mm is recommended. You can also grab the printable files for the canopy, battery holder, and M2 spacers from my website. Hope they come in handy!
Update on January 21, 2026: I found that by making the plate thickness 1.2 mm, it can be converted into a pusher using an M2 screw with a 16 mm threaded section and a nut. I’ve added an STL file with the 1.2 mm thickness.You no longer need to screw the hexagonal nut from both the top and bottom. Also, if you use an external receiver or VTX, you’ll need to be creative with the placement.
On May 19, 2026, I added a revised version with an updated design.Improved both the weight and the overall design.I also added a 0.8 mm version focused on weight reduction.
