This is a variation of a PSI Wheel or a psychotronic rotor which is supposed to be moved by spiritual forces (telekinesis)

It is said that you can make it spin with your thoughts and without touching it
This much-discussed device is well-known in esotericism, among scientists, and among those who believe in "the force". In 1975, this rotor was even mentioned in a CIA report.

Why a cylinder shape and not the classic PSI Wheel:
The shape is somewhat less susceptible to static charge, air currents, and thermal radiation
These influences can cause the cylinder to wobble or rotate.

Classic form (very susceptible to said influences):

Form from the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia:

What this experiment is for:
Whether you believe in mysticism, physics, or superstition, test and prove if you are "gifted" or just normal. Or prove for yourself why eating meat is better or worse for your mental power. See if young or old masters the force, or if there are tendencies based on your chromosomes. Or let your trusted witch, monk, or shaman prove themselves with this device.

Setup:
1. Insert a thick but very sharp needle through the hole in the cross. For assistance, you can use the hole aid in the second print template. (described in more detail below)

2. Use very narrow glasses or a closed bottle to place the cylinder on. Or use the stand from the second print template. It is best to place a shot glass last on the tip of the stand, as glass has the lowest friction.

3. Find a draft-free location that is neither too warm nor too cold.
Leave the setup in position for a while and observe from a distance if a draft causes the cylinder to move. If it remains still, you have a good place to start the test.

Test procedure:
Sit comfortably and calmly in front of the setup, paying attention to your posture and the angle of your nose to prevent your breath from moving the cylinder. Avoid jerky movements. Keep your hands at least 3cm away. Concentrate on the cylinder's mass, imagine it as a familiar part of you. The calmer you are, the clearer your will. Free yourself from emotions or distractions. Do not actively try to transfer your will through physical tension, nor by focusing on your hands, but rather feel the device as a part of you.

Action - Reaction:
· If you hold your hands slightly below the cylinder so that the heat emitted by your hands creates a minimal airflow that causes the cylinder to spin or wobble.
→ Congratulations, you are a natural scientist experimenting

· If you hold your hands more than 5cm away from the cylinder and can spin it more than one full turn but can no longer stop it.
→ Congratulations, you are an NPC (check your surroundings for drafts)

· If you hold your hands more than 5cm away from the cylinder and can spin it more than one full turn, stop it at will, and spin it in the opposite direction without delay in braking.
→ Congratulations, you have the Force within you, you control your Chi, your Aura, space-time, the Matrix, and perhaps you were revered or ostracized in a past life. Keep training, Padawan!

· You simply cannot influence it:
→ Welcome to the reality of a normal human. Such is life, you certainly have other strengths 😉.

Important for printing:
- You absolutely must use a 0.2mm nozzle and the spiral/vase printing function.
The print setting is located under "Miscellaneous" in the Special Mode category; simply check the box there and agree to the adjustment of the print setting.
- The finished print must be very carefully removed from the print bed as its thin wall (0.2mm) makes it tear very easily.
- Printing with a 0.4mm nozzle makes the cylinder twice as heavy and is therefore not suitable

Inserting the needle:
Use a glass on which you can place the hole aid. Place the cylinder with the cross facing up into the recess. At the center of the hole aid is a guide for the needle, and in the middle of the cylinder's cross is a hole starter. Now push the needle through the hole in the cross.
The needle should protrude approximately 5mm into the interior of the cylinder. If the needle is inserted too far, it will tilt due to the cylinder's weight, and the pivot point will no longer be central, causing the cylinder to be unevenly supported.

The hole is now too big, what to do:
If the hole has become too large and the needle no longer holds, use a piece of adhesive tape, adhesive fleece, or similar.
Place the cylinder in the hole aid as shown below.
First, push the needle through the adhesive tape/fleece, and then guide the needle with the tape into the enlarged hole of the cylinder. Now fix the adhesive tape on the cross of the cylinder, being careful not to insert the needle too far.
