Temporary Room Separator / Dust Barrier Brackets

These are brackets for installing a temporary wall or dust barrier. Great for controlling dust and derbies during construction projects.

A piece of lumber is used to span between the lower “ball end” side and upper “fixed pad”. Then the thread is expanded to wedge the assembly between the floor and ceiling. They only need to be hand tight; don't use a wrench!

The “Pad” should be printed in TPU for best results. The pad is constructed so the plastic can be wedged between it and the base plate. But you can also simply wedge the plastic between the pad and ceiling or floor.

If using lumber, sizes for 2x4 or 2x2 are available. The 2x2's are created by ripping a 2x4 in half.

UPDATE: We have added models for round material, which includes:

• 1inch OD for wooden dowel
• 1.24inch OD for wooden dowel
• 1.32inch OD for 1inch PVC pipe (schedule 40 or 80) 
• 1.90inch OD for 1.5inch PVC pipe (schedule 40 or 80) 

Cut your material 7” shorter than your ceiling height and these brackets will take up the rest of the height allowing room for adjustment.

A zipper can be added to create a door for access. Search for products called “Peal and stick zippers” or “adhesive zippers” for this.
