Configurable Adapter Plate for Hoof Boots

This is a configurator for adapter plates (ND-Plate) to use pastern straps (ND-Gaiter) with hoof boots

In this case, the ND-Gaiter

should be used with existing hoof boots

For this, a way must be created to position the button rivets close to each other and as close as possible below the coronet band

This configurator creates an adapter that does exactly this

For the main plate, the width, length, and thickness can be specified, as well as the spacing and diameter of the holes

If the hoof boot has widened a bit over time, you can choose a spacing 1-2mm smaller here to be able to pull the hoof boot together slightly at the front. The hole spacing is printed at the back. If you only want to cater to this specific case, you can do so by disabling WithTopPlates

For the two small upper sections (TopPlates), you can also specify the length, width, and thickness. In addition to the bore diameter, you can also specify the diameter of the washer/screw on the back, so that it does not rest against the hoof

You can use button rivets with 6mm, 8mm, or 10mm. Accordingly, you must configure and print the adapter plate and the gaiter

Assembly

For assembly, first screw the button rivets onto the adapter plate and then screw the adapter plate onto your hoof boot

If you put a small drop of Loctite on the screws, you won't lose them as quickly
