Description

This is an improvement on my previous design https://makerworld.com/en/models/1758300-samsonite-spinner-29-replacement-wheel-tyre#profileId-1870128 based on the same suitcase wheel.

I had issues with the strength of the previous design after using it for a trip so this design is more robust and uses two 608 cartridge bearings to bear the load and allow the wheels to spin more freely.  The wheel and top hats are printed in PETG and the tyre in TPU.

Hardware needed (bolt size may change depending on the wheels youre replacing):

2 x 608 bearings (Amazon link)
1 x M5x50mm bolt

1 x M5 Locknut

One complete assembly will require:

1 x Wheel

1 x Tyre (heat it in boiling water before fitting to the wheel to help stretch it over it)

2 x Top hats

+The hardware listed above
