Description
Mite trap for the chicken coop perch
Since I couldn't find a perfectly suitable solution, I designed something myself that met all my requirements.
The application is very simple, and with the 2 variants (horizontal/vertical mounting), everyone should be able to manage it
The mite trap is filled with oil or diatomaceous earth.
Mites that crawl in and try to reach the perch get stuck or dry out.
The use without toxins is ecological and therefore safe for humans & animals,
Prevents mite infestation very well,
More well-being and health for your chickens
Simply drill an 8mm hole in the perch and attach it,
no additional parts are needed, except for the screws to fasten the holders in the chicken coop.
I printed and used the whole thing in PLA without problems, but perhaps PETG would be a better and more long-term solution
