Description

A brief history

The TM-62 series replaced earlier post-war designs and became a standard Warsaw Pact anti-vehicle blast mine family, produced in multiple casings (metal, wood, cardboard/fiber, plastic) to suit different environments and detection countermeasures. Interchangeable fuzes—including MVZ-62, MVCh-62, MVP-62/MVP-62M and magnetic-influence types—gave commanders flexibility in emplacement and effects. The TM-62P3 emphasized durability and reduced metal signature; it, and other TM-62 variants, have been documented in conflicts from the late Cold War through today.

The global landmine/ERW problem

Landmines and other explosive remnants of war (ERW) contaminate dozens of countries, causing thousands of civilian casualties annually and blocking access to farms, roads, schools, and health services for years after conflicts end. Evidence-based mitigation relies on a mix of marking and fencing, risk education (EORE), and professional clearance

About EODynamics

EODynamics is a veteran-owned, Sweden-based company building AR/VR training systems, 3D ordnance libraries, and digital tools for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Humanitarian Mine Action. We design field-ready, offline-capable solutions aligned with IMAS/NMAS—used for skills training, risk education (EORE), and mission rehearsal. Our products (including EHART) help agencies, NGOs, and educators standardize best practice, reduce risk, and scale training affordably. We also provide 3D modeling, data integration, and advisory support to accelerate safe, evidence-based EOD and HMA capability development.
