Description
Molecular Geometries in general chemistry. Basics and derivatives. Have trouble with more realistic models for seesaw and t-shaped though. This new version of molecular geometry models is much more friendly to be handled. The wider and shorter pins do not break easily and the surrounding atoms can be placed on and off the central atoms repeatedly. I tried using different colors for the central atoms but was running out of color filaments. All surrounding atoms are in white with the exception the AX model (HCl), with H (white, hole) is the central atom and Cl (green, pin) is the surrounding atom.
All basic geometry can have the surrounding atoms (white, pin) replaced by electron lone pairs (grey, pin) to show derivative shapes and the shared electron pair geometries. Most of the derivative shapes also have separate models where the electron lone pairs are ignored and only the overall molecular geometries are shown.
