Description

Here's a design I made some time ago for one of my Telecaster guitars. The file is placed on the printing plate upside down so that the smoother side is facing outward on the instrument. I hope it helps someone.

Very good fit! And great idea printing face-down. Printed on a textured plate in PLA-Silk, the pattern transfers well, looks great. Some faceting on the edges, I may try a re-mix of this to clean that up.

It looks amazing, I'm really happy to see photos of others' prints :) I'm sorry it has some faceting; it was one of my first designs from several years ago, and it was focused on CNC cutting for making them in carbon fiber (so I used to sand the edges).If I find some time, I'll take a look at it; if not, I'd be delighted to see your remix!

That sounds like a cool project... Any chance you might have the .STL files this was created from, or know the source if there may be one? When I export into .STL, the faceting is still there. Searched all over, still cannot find a pickguard model as close as this one to American Tele geometry. Thank you!
