šæ Hi everyone!
Iām excited to share my latest creation ā a fun, educational flower/plant pot and seed starter designed especially for children!
I wanted to make something quirky for little gardeners ā inspired by those classic āgrass headā pots, but with a twist: this one lets them grow and harvest their own fresh produce!
And since I love toads, I couldnāt resist turning this idea into a cute little toad garden buddy. šø
The toad has a removable inner liner, making it easy to lift out seedlings and replant them as they grow. Even better ā try printing it in transparent filament! Kids can watch the roots spread and learn how plants grow, while adults can easily check plant health without removing them from the pot.
The inner container includes drainage holes, while the toad itself doesnāt ā perfect for catching extra water so your windowsill doesnāt end up soaked!
To grow your cress, simply:
- Add compost to the liner
- Sprinkle in your cress seeds
- Water lightly
- Place on a sunny windowsill
Then wait for the magic ā those tiny green shoots will have your kids thrilled! Once ready, they can snip their cress and enjoy their own homegrown garnish.
This pot also works great for small houseplants like cacti if you prefer something low-maintenance.

Tip: If scaling down, donāt make the liner too small ā itās only one layer thick for that see-through look. If it turns black in your slicer, itās too small to print.
