Description

This model is designed to test the translucency and light diffusion of clear or translucent filaments, such as PLA Translucent or PETG Clear.
It allows you to evaluate how wall thickness (1–5 perimeters) and bottom layer count (1–5 layers) affect light transmission and material opacity.

Each section of the cylinder is labeled from 1 to 5, representing the increasing number of wall layers. The bottom of the model also contains separate areas with different bottom layer counts, helping you compare transparency not only vertically but also horizontally through the base.

Perfect for determining the ideal print settings for lamps, diffusers, decorative translucent prints, or any project requiring controlled light diffusion.
