3M Claw openGrid Snap Mount

A snap mount to hang your openGrid tiles on 3M Claw drywall hangers!

It comes in 5 sizes numbered 0-4. This is to accommodate different filaments and print settings.

The size of a given snap can be found by counting the small bumps on the inside bottom lip of the snap.

For me, these sizes fit best (but see the instructions below for best results):

 • Size 3 for 15lb-capacity claws

 • Size 1 for 25lb-capacity claws 

 • Size 2 for 45lb-capacity claws

(I know, it's weird, but that's what fit best for me based on the claw shapes) 

Recommended approach: I recommend printing the first plate in the print profile (it contains one of each size) to see which size will give the best fit based on your filament & config, and then printing whichever plate is full of the size that fits best for you.

Recommended print settings: 0.1mm layers, 0.4mm nozzle, 99 walls, infill irrelevant

There's also a 5th size in the downloadable STEP files that's the original prototype - in case you happened to see the original Reddit post about this snap and prefer that model. It's very thin/light, but not as sturdy as the other models.
