Description

Howdy!  Drip baseballs seem to be all the rage these days, so here is a version I made myself.  I've printed this in numerous color combinations and they have all turned out great.  Add a name and number to personalize it, or it even works great without!

Please throw a like, comment, or boost if you like the print!  Your support pushes me to keep learning and making new prints.

To change the name and number:

  1. Open in Bambu Studio
  2. On the left panel next to ‘Process’, change from Global to Objects
  3. Scroll down until you see ‘Text_shape’
  4. Right click on the words ‘Text_shape’ and select ‘Edit Text’
    1. the first should be for the name and the second should be for the number
    2. if you want to delete one or both, select ‘delete’ instead of ‘edit text’

The text I used is called ‘Varsity Team’.  Google will bring up thousands of sites to download it from.  When you download it, right click on the file and select ‘install for all users’ so that Bambu Studio can use it.

Turned out great! I have a couple Sunlu's but they didn't have the softball feel. Love this! I need to place an order with Bambu just waiting or some colors to come back in stock haha

That's awesome! and exactly what my intentions were for this print. I've done some for several different teams and love seeing them come out in so many color combos.

Not yet, but I'm working towards it and will be offering as soon as I can. I want to stay mostly exclusive to MakerWorld so I don't have to manage as much, but I have to have 200 followers first. If that ends up taking too long then I'll jump on Patreon to offer commercial licensing.

Fantastic upload, and boosted. My kiddo loves it. Now I'm hoping I dont have to print one for everyone on the LL team! I added the player number, and changed the infill. @AverageJoeAg let me know if you want me to upload it (MW points are yours, you did the work).

Did you use the stl? The 3mf should have both the name and number and a different infill than grid. Thank you very much for the boost!

My apologies! I was totally thinking of a different design that didn't have the number. You're right, yours rocks!

Hi! Hi! My 12yo son made this tag for his bag and now his team wants to purchase one for their bags. Do you have a file I could buy or a platform to subscribe to to be able to sell to his team?

Unfortunately, I have not set up any method to license these, yet. MakerWorld has a few requirements before I can, and I believe I'm just short followers until I can license through their platform (which I plan to do). If it takes too long before that happens I might bite the bullet and go through Patreon or another site with less requirements.

I tried out a tag for my nephew , and im not sure what when wrong. I went back to slice plate to check each section and it seem to put color down in those yellow circles I highlighted. Then it will show in the finished Product. Any suggestions?

Same thing was happening to me! I came here looking for answers and didn't find one. But I figured it out!!! Make sure you change the filament color to white and then paint the other colors and that'll fix the problem!!
