🔥 PLA Recycling Cartridge for Hot Glue Guns – DIY Cartridge from Print Waste
This 3D-printable cartridge mold makes it possible to meaningfully reuse PLA scraps and print waste. The empty cartridge is filled with shredded or finely cut PLA material and can then be used in suitable hot glue guns – provided the gun reaches the necessary melting temperature for PLA (approx. 180–220 °C).
♻️ Features & Notes:
- Suitable for hot glue guns with high temperature performance
- Only suitable for PLA – other materials such as ABS or PETG are not compatible
- Ideal for recycling misprints, support structures, and leftover pieces
- Not suitable for standard hot glue or low-temperature devices
⚠️ Important:
- Works only with high-temperature hot glue guns that can reliably melt PLA
- The quality of the gluing result heavily depends on the purity and consistency of the PLA material used
