Description

Husqvarna Automower® Off-Road Wheel

New wheel design for the Husqvarna Automower® 305, 310, 315 and related models.

Features

This wheel was designed to provide better traction and grip in the garden, especially on uneven terrain and slopes.

I printed the rim in ASA, but PETG should work as well.

For the tire itself, I recommend PETG with 6 perimeters/walls. I may experiment with TPU in the future.

Compatibility

Tested Models

The wheel has been successfully tested on:

  • Automower® 310
  • Automower® 315
  • Automower® 305

Potentially Compatible Models

Based on Husqvarna spare parts compatibility information, the wheel may also fit the following models. However, these models have not yet been tested:

  • Automower® 315X
  • Automower® Limited Edition
  • Automower® 520
  • Automower® 550
  • Automower® 405X
  • Automower® 415X
  • Automower® 310 Mark II
  • Automower® 315 Mark II
  • Automower® 405 Mark II

If you test the wheel on one of these models, please leave a comment and let me know the results. I will update the compatibility list based on community feedback.

Available Versions

If you look at the STL files, you will find two versions of the tire and two versions of the rim.

Rim Options

Less Play

  • Designed with a tighter fit (-0.2 mm)
  • Minimizes movement between the rim and tire

More Play

  • Includes an additional 0.2 mm clearance
  • May work better depending on your printer's tolerances

Choose the version that best matches your printer's accuracy.

Tire Options

The photos show a comparison between both tire versions.

V2 features slightly wider tread teeth for improved durability and grip.

Center Cap

The cap can be printed in multicolor and includes the Husqvarna logo.

Additional Hardware Required for V1

  • 12 × M3x8 screws
  • 12 × threaded inserts (Ø4.6 mm × 5.7 mm)

Update - V2 (17.04.2026)

Hello garden friends!

First of all, thank you for all the positive feedback, downloads, boosts and likes. I really appreciate your support!

After five mowing seasons with the original wheels, it was finally time to replace the tires. During disassembly, I discovered a weakness in the V1 design: one of the heat-set inserts came loose, making it difficult to remove the tire.

This experience inspired me to redesign the wheel and create Version 2.

What's New in V2?

The biggest improvement is that V2 no longer requires heat-set inserts.

Instead, you only need:

  • 3 × M4 screws
  • An M4 thread tap

The tire is now attached directly to the wheel carrier using only three screws, making assembly and maintenance much easier.

The center cap from V1 can still be reused.

Material Testing

So far, I have tested tires printed in both PLA and PETG.

My results:

  • PLA wears relatively quickly.
  • PETG provides significantly better durability and is currently my preferred material.

For Existing V1 Users

The V1 files will remain available.

If you need replacement tires or spare parts for your existing wheels, you can still download and print them at any time.

Happy printing and happy mowing!
