This design began as a remix of eclien’s original 2023–2024 Hyundai Palisade dash phone mount
👉 Original model on MakerWorld
My first version was a quick adaptation to fit my older phone holder — this one on Amazon — by removing the magnet void and adding a ball and stem mount instead. That early prototype worked well for my 2025 Palisade, though it sat a bit low and partially behind the wiper stalk, so I noted that I’d probably shorten the stem in a future revision.
After another user suggested raising the stem slightly for better visibility with larger phones, I revisited the model. The current version reflects that collaboration and real-world use in my own vehicle.
What’s new in this iteration:
• The stem has been repositioned and shortened, moving the phone up and out from behind the wiper controls.
• I adjusted the lower width to allow more side-to-side placement on the dash — giving flexibility to align the mount without blocking the driver’s screen or cluster view.
• I didn’t move it as high as suggested, since in my testing that put the phone too far into the front window’s line of sight.
• Added a small integrated clip at the bottom edge to neatly route a USB cable, especially helpful after removing the MagSafe void.
• Additionally I left this version without the ribbed features from the original as I really didn't want to mess with adding them back after my transformations in onshape destroyed the originals
Notes:
- I printed in ASA for higher temps usually found in cars in the summer, but have used PLA prototypes (Jade white bambu PLA basic )during my testing and it worked just fine so far as well.
- The holder I used included a bunch of stuff you don't need for this mount. You essentially could use any system that uses a threaded ball and socket mount sized for a 17mm ball. I think either of these would work but have not tested them.
EDIT: I have used the first one below and it works very well.

-I used Microcenter's Inland ASA in black with Bambu generic ASA on the gold textured PEI plate with zero issues.
-I would assume Bambu ASA using stock settings would work as well.
-This works in my 2025 Palisade and the original print stated 2023-2024 therefore I expanded the matched years for this print.
-I have only printed this on a P1S
