Description

There’s a surprising lack of high-quality Banksy art for 3D printing—mostly rough stencils or some framed versions.

So I took matters into my own hands: traced select pieces as vectors and rebuilt them from scratch in Fusion.

Print Specs:

Just one filament change: 1 mm black base, 1 mm white top layer
works with and without AMS—simple and clean
(optional) third color: added a 3rd mm layer if the motif calls for it

Additional Tips:

I added double-sided adhesive to the back and stuck it straight to the wall—easy install, no fuss.
Let the print bed cool completely before removal—especially for fine details.

needs to be solid infill. the white is translucent enough that you can see the infill lines.

Hey mate, could you send me a picture? All Banksys have the same 1 mm + 1 mm setup, and no one has had this issue in more than 300 prints. Which brand of filament did you use for white PLA? Thanks for your support in helping me to improve the quality — I appreciate every feedback.

uploaded a photo. the contrast doesn't really come through on a camera. I tried different light sources.

It looks perfect to me. I checked the file and you can usually easily change the infill to 100% by editing the objects (the white and black objects are separate for easy colouring), but in this case, with five layers of 0.2 mm each, it doesn't make any difference because the print has five top layers/walls. So it already has 100% infill (you can check this after slicing). What you can do in your special case: scale the z-axis only(!) from 2 mm to 4 mm, so you get double the amount of white layers. for a better coverage.
