Premium Embroidery Floss Bobbin
Print Profile(1)
Description
TIRED OF FLIMSY, BORING FLOSS BOBBINS?
Say hello to the over-engineered, unapologetically premium Embroidery Bobbins you never knew you needed — until now.
Designed with stitchers in mind, these bobbins are like cardstock… if cardstock went to the gym and got a degree in organization.
Four flavors, pick your fighter:
• Ordinary bobbin, with winder hole, because you like convenience
• Ordinary and standard without hole — because you are a purist (or just don’t own a winder)
• With built-in label holder and hole — for when you have tonnes of different embroidery floss and just wanna know where it was from… when you run out ofc.
• With built-in label holder and no hole, pure minimalist bliss so that you can write it dont properly,
Rounded edges mean no snaggy floss. Diagonal catch-slots mean tidy tails.
And the “label parking space”? That’s just you being smarter than Past-You.
Print, wind, admire. Repeat until organized. Fits diffrent organizers, as these are pretty standard in size.
Upgrade your chaos — one bobbin at a time.

Suggested print settings:
- Material: PLA or PETG (PLA is fine — these are not load-bearing bobbins) Ive printed succesfully in SUNLU White PLA and Transluscent.
- Layer height: 0.2 mm works great (just as the file)
- Perimeters: 2–3 walls
- Infill: none. Its 3 layers.
- Supports: Off. Absolutely no need for that.
- Adhesion:Make sure the plate is clean. These little guys get caught easily (just an observation or…. experience)
- Orientation: Print flat as provided
Notes:
- The diagonal floss-catch slots print clean without supports.
- The sampler plate is perfect for dialing in fit and aesthetic before committing to 36× plates.
- If holes feel slightly undersized on your printer, scale plate up by 1–2% (uniform) rather than drilling.
- The Bobbins fit storebought bobbin organizers. I own two diffrent ones, and these fit them both. (Theyre pretty regular in size as the cardstock ones)
