Diabolo Demon - Rotary Air gun pellet dispenser
Print Profile(5)

Description
This is the completel redesign of my old pellet dispenser found here:-
https://makerworld.com/en/models/927852-airgun-177-22-competition-pellet-dispenser
This has received various updates to ensure it is faster, more convienient and easier to use than ever. Designed primary for shooting competitions, scouts, theme parks etc i designed this to aid in pellet distribution to shooters. It saves a huge amount of time vs having to manually count out pellets to each person. It is also useful for general airgun shooters, i use mine to dispense 10 pellets onto my lap to load 10 shot magazines rather than fumbling through a tin.
Magnetic lid
Ball bearing index
5 or 6 shot available (50 or 60) total pellets dispensed
.177/.22 calibre currently but will be adding .20 and .25
Capable of storing pellets until required
Parts required:-
6 x 4mm diameter 2mm thickness magnets + glue
1 x 4mm diameter 10mm compression spring
1 x 4mm diameter ball bearing
M3 csk screw 6/8mm length
M3 heatset insert or alternatively i have made the retaining washer glue in.
How to assemble:-
Print your chosen print profile (PETG) reccommended if outdoors otherwise PLA is good.
Install the coloured strip into the magazine cutout (chamfered side first). Tap it in gently with a soft piece of scrapwood or rubber tool.
Install the m3 heatset insert into the housing shaft, or alternatively i have added a m3 press in washer which you can push and glue in after the mag wheel is fitted. Just ensure you dont glue it to the magazine.
Place the spring into the hole at the bottom left of the unit and rest the ball bearing ontop of the spring keeping the unit vertical.
Slot on the magazine wheel. Easiest to go at an angle with a cutout onto the ball bearing and slot onto the central shaft.
Install the washer and countersunk screw
Super glue in the magnets being careful to install them the correct orientation so they are attracted to one another.
How to use:-
Rotate the magazine wheel so that the blank section with the red tag is at the top left, covering the dispenser holes.
Hold the unit and cover the small cutout at the bottom with your thumb (typically done when holding anyway).
Add a rough selection of pellets to the unit and shake, the pellets will drop into the holes.
Empty the spare pellets out the bottom hole you covered with your thumb.
Fit the lid if required
From then on simply rotate the unit one click at a time (5 or 6 pellets) will be dispensed at a time depending on model.
Once the unit is empty the red tag on the magazine on will show through the slot in the lid.
The unit will also store a variety of different types of pellets. You can also add a thin piece of foam to the lid if required to stop them making noise.
