Illuminated Christmas Star (fully printable)

This luminous Christmas star with **32 points** is fully **3D-printable**, ideal as **window or room lighting** during the Advent season The star can be assembled **completely without glue** and just as easily disassembled if needed – perfect for space-saving storage

It is compatible with **E10 sockets** and **6.3V LED lamps** and can be customized in color as desired Thanks to the thin, translucent walls it shines beautifully from within even with normal PLA

Alternatively the star can also be used without lighting

**🧩 Model Variants / Assembly**

The model consists of a total of **33 parts**:

• 1× Base
• 19× large points
• 12× small points
• 1× Point with lamp opening

The points are simply** inserted onto the base** – no glue needed For the point with the lamp opening a slightly larger round opening is provided at the base
The tolerances are deliberately **tight** to ensure a secure fit If you want the star to be particularly stable the points can be glued if desired

The diameter of the star is approximately 20 centimeters

The base can also be printed with transparent filament for better light transmission

  • All points together approx 2.5 h

💡 **Tip:** The selection of the wall generator “Arachne” is essential to print the upper part of the points continuously with one wall despite variable wall thickness The lower part of the points is extra reinforced to ensure a durable plug-in mechanism

**💡 Lighting / Assembly Instructions**

• Suitable for **E10 sockets** and **6.3V LED lamps** (For warm light a **warm white LED lamp with 0.3 watts** of power should preferably be selected)
• Recommended connectors: **2.6mm banana plugs** for model building
• For mounting the lamp holder: Unscrew contacts, thread cable through the special point, reattach holder
• The star can then be **hung by the cable**
• Some pressure may be needed during initial assembly – tolerances are tightly chosen to guarantee a firm fit
